Who We are
The "Virginia Avenue Dog Park partners" group is an all-volunteer group of community members who work as part of the "Friends of the Virginia Avenue Park" 501c3 whom are stewards of the the best dog park in DC -- Virginia Avenue Dog Park. Our partners in this group include the Virginia Avenue Community Garden, community members, local businesses, and business districts in the Southeast community, and the neighborhood ANC commissioner. The Virginia Avenue Dog Park Partners works to maintain and support the dog park portion of the park through volunteer work and donations, in partnership with the DC Department of Parks and Recreation, owners of the public property and facilities. We are all your neighbors and community members doing the work and raising funds for our local park. Even our logo was designed by a community member, reflecting our community icons!
